On September 10, 2013, stepwise project of Beijing Engineering Research Center of Protein and Functional Peptides (hereinafter referred to as the engineering center) in 2012——" Research on the key technology and cell absorption mechanism of food-borne oligopeptide chelate mineral elements " acceptance conference was held successfully in the support of leadership from the Beijing municipal science and technology commission and ours. Conference was presided by Fang xiaoli and Zhang yanbin from Beijing municipal science and technology commission and engaging Beijing union university Professor Jin Zonglian, China agricultural university Professor Ji Baoping, Beijing forestry university professor Ren Difeng, deputy director of Beijing institute of nutrition, Li Dong, certified public accountants from KPMG, liu Qiang as members of expert group. Cai Muyi, President of our institute, vice-president wang Jie, director Gu RuiZeng, Liu Pin, Lu Jun and Yi Weixue, Pan Xingchang, ling feng, Wei Ying, Su Rina and other experts attended the meeting.

First of all, President Cai and Fang XiaoLi delivered important speech. Cai introduced the basic operation matters of engineering center for one year and pointed out that since it’s establishment, engineering center had been keeping development in the direction of high quality and stable production on the base of origin industrialization and theoretical study of functional peptide, and transverse and longitudinal projects revenue continued to rise; after a year of research and development, the stepwise program developed two kinds of new products , the Marine collagen peptide chelate calcium and black-bone chicken peptide chelate iron, which added new varieties for efficient nutrient ingredients in our country and has a great application potential in the nutritional health products industry. Fang highly appreciated the important achievements of engineering center in this project, and hope engineering center to further improve resources integration capability, scientific and technological innovation capability and achievements transformation capability in the future scientific research. The meeting appointed professor Jin Zonglian team leader.

Later, Dr Lu Jun carried on detailed report about this project background, purpose, main content , implementation, achievement and so on, and focused on the industrialization prospect, market application prospect and expected social economic benefits of this project.

Participants carefully listened to the report and review the material and agreed that engineering center had completed the project and assessment index, used the funds reasonablely after questioning and discussion; The project developed the new technology of Marine collagen chelate calcium and black-bone chicken peptide chelate iron, which was technically innovative; Project has carried on comprehensive research on the in vitro digestion, structure identification, chelation mechanism, in vitro antioxidant activity, cell absorption of the oligopeptides chelate calcium and iron. Engineering center resulted significantly in technology research and development, international and domestic cooperation, resources integration, intellectual property and achievements transformation, which benefited obviously and had outstanding influence of industry. The panel agreed the project to through the acceptance and suggested to deepen the relevant industrial production technology research and development, to realize the industrial production of oligopeptide chelation with calcium and iron.
